BI-40 C/D/E Water- dispersible HDI Blocked Isocyanates

BI-40 C/D/E is a water-based aliphatic blocked polyisocyanate crosslinkers with different unblocking temperatures. It can be used to formulate water-reducible, lightfast one-component stoving paints. BI-40 renders comparable performance with Imprafix® 2794.

This product can be diluted with deionized water. It is only partially compatible with glycol ether and alcohol, and the compatibility and storage stability of the diluted solution must be tested.

The product should be stored in a sealed container within the recommended temperature range of 5°C to 25°C. The product is sensitive to freezing. Freezing will have an irreversible effect on the product. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures may reduce viscosity and lead to product precipitation and coagulation.
